Our Dark Chocolate Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar is rich, thick and resounds with the complexity of three different chocolates responsible for the depth of it's flavor. Just sublime when used to Macerate Fresh Berries or with our Blood Orange EVOO. Compliments Grilled Steaks or Meats beautifully. All of VSOP's Balsamic Vinegars are progressively aged through a battery of seven fired wood barrels (cherry, oak, ash, chestnut, mulberry, juniper, acacia) of successively smaller sizes, according to the age old Solera Method. They are of the highest quality and are made in Modena, Italy from cooked, ultra premium caramelized grape must from Trebbiano & Lambrusco grapes, which is cooked in a copper kettle over an open wood fire according to tradition.
